Caleidoscoop is a Dutch organisation, founded in 1996, for, and by, people with DID. Their goal is to educate patients, practitioners, family and friends of someone with DID, and other people who are interested, about DID, while also being a support system for people with DID themselves. Caleidoscoop offers their members nation- and regionwide meetings, online contact through their forum, contact with fellow members, information through their newspaper, and a help- and information phoneline.

​An Infinite Mind is an American non-profit organisation, founded in 2008, that is dedicated to spreading awareness about DID, inspiring change, improving the lives of survivors with trauma-based dissociation (with a primary focus on DID). Their mission is to educate people about trauma-based dissociation and to advocate for people who have trauma-based dissociation. They do this by reaching out to various public institutions and professional organizations to educate about dissociation and DID, organizing the "Healing Together Conference", therapy workshops, art healing workshops, and they provide trauma-informed educational trainings for mental health clinicians and other human services providers.

First Person Plural is a British organisation, founded in 1997, that works for, and on behalf of, people that are affected by complex Dissociative Identity Disorders. They are the only UK membership charity that specializes in this field and work to facilitate mutual support groups that are open to both members and non-members. For the benefit of the wider public they provide information, training, and resources to support these activities (e.g. training and information movies and their website).
